Widening the Circle: Confronting the Challenges of Implicit Bias

Implicit biases are subconsciously harbored by all humans. They can pose a significant challenge to dismantling oppressions experienced by people who differ from dominant culture norms of race, sexuality, physical abilities, neurodiversity, and other attributes. UUCT Allies for Racial Equity members Linda Wright and Bob Deyle will explore the nature of implicit bias, how it can contribute to and perpetuate barriers to inclusion, and ways we can work to disassemble it in ourselves and our institutions.
