Food for Thought

Do you think that eating healthy takes more time?  Do you need some ideas for cooking plant-based meals?  If you need some suggestions, please join us for our next Food For Thought – a Healthier You, a Healthier Planet meeting, which will convene on Thursday, March 10th at 7:00 PM on zoom.  Because the members of the group have expressed an interest in eating healthier meals that are not only kind to the planet, but also kind to our bodies, we will view a video from the PCRM’s (Physicians Committee for Responsible Medicine) One Healthy World’s resource library.  The video features three chefs who will provide us with tips and shortcuts in preparing whole-food plant-based meals and several delicious recipes. 

As always, if we have time, we will also share some of our own favorite plant-based healthy foods that we have recently prepared.  We will convene again this month on Zoom but will discuss the possibility of meeting again in person in the future.  A link will be sent to all participants a day before our meeting.  If you have never joined us before, please contact:  Linda Oaksford at, so that you can be added to our email list.
