In the fall of 2021, the UUCT Board engaged a team of FSU graduate students from the College of Education to research and report on the state of volunteerism at UUCT. This team’s conclusion from the December 2021 Report on Volunteerism at UUCT was:

UUCT is at a crucial point with possible re-entry into the community from a virtual space to in-person events or a hybrid variation of the same. Revitalizing programming, starting the search for a settled minister, attracting and retaining a volunteer pool, and reaffirming the activities of the church will become a major focus in the coming months. Taking the time to have a focused plan on re-energizing a volunteer base will facilitate meeting the various needs of the congregation as well as the physical plant of the organization.
