Board Notes

Your Executive Board sets policies and oversees church property, the conduct of church business, and the fulfillment of church purposes. You, as a congregation, elect its members, who serve staggered terms. The minister is a non-voting member.

At the December 16 meeting, the board asked that Greg DeAngelo and the Personnel Committee:

• include the Office Administrator position at 35 hours per week (currently at 30 hours per week) in the FY 2022-2023 asking budget,

• include two calculations for the Director of Religious Exploration position, one at the current 24 hours and one at 30 hours per week, for the FY 2022-2023 asking budget, and

• evaluate a (new) Tech position at 5 hours per week to assist with the streaming Sunday service, to begin in the current FY, 2021-2022.

The board discussed, among other topics, church campus security. Bonnie Abellera, VP for Management, agreed to report on the next steps to take, based on security reviews completed in 2013 and 2018.

Bonnie also updated the board on plans for the December 18th Festival on the Green community celebration.
