You are welcome to join us every Sunday from 3pm to 4pm EST on Zoom. We are a community of meditators who come together for a chance to center ourselves with calm and focus. Each week a member of the group leads the meditation, drawing from a variety of Buddhist thought. Our usual practice starts with a guided meditation or a passage reading while seated, followed by a walking meditation, then finishing with a silent meditation. At the conclusion, we share our experiences with each other.
Whether you are new or seasoned to the practice of meditation, all are welcome. Please email Ardenkelly@yahoo.com for the Zoom link invitation to be sent to you every Saturday.

Join us weekly via Zoom for a synergistic interfaith spiritual practice of many forms of singing, chanting, and group observation of silence.
The goal is to help each participant reach a place within themselves where they can connect with the Divine, their Inner Core, the Spirit of Life; wherever they find Peace. Led by Angel de Armendi, Music Director.
Beginning next week, Singing Meditation will change to an alternating Tuesday/Thursday rotation schedule. Our next gathering will be Thursday March 4 from 9:30 am – 10:30 am.
If interested in joining or for more information, contact Music Director Angel de Armendi at email@example.com

Climate and Environmental Justice Event Coming March 10
By Kim Ross
ReThink Energy Florida, whose founders are our members, Brian Lee and Kim Ross, along with many other organizations, is hosting their upcoming Reclaiming Florida’s Future for All (RFF) on Wednesday March 10 from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
RFF is an environmental and climate justice educational and advocacy day that will be virtual this year. It will include, as it does in person, meetings to educate our lawmakers, and also a day full of speakers and caucuses. Hear from a climate justice panel (1:30pm) featuring Rev Michael Malcom, of Alabama Interpower Faith and Light, and Jeannie Economos, of the Florida Farmworkers Alliance.
The event will also feature a Virtual Rally at 10AM, a Lunch-n-Act at 12:30, and an Intergenerational Interview (2:30) between Vaholly Frank (from the youth lawsuits against FL and US) and Rafe Pomerance ( worked on climate in the Clinton Administration). We’ll hear at 3:30 from Dr. Sandra Steingraber, Professor from NY who got fracking banned there, and close out the day at 4pm with five caucuses, including a youth caucus, faith caucus, and vulnerable community caucus. Christian Spirituality @ UUCT
Join us for a twice-monthly, Zoom Bible study. While each week’s Bible passage will be the focus of the meeting, the real purpose of Christian Spirituality is to create a friendly association, to give and receive support, and to find our lives expressed in the Bible.
Our meetings will be the second and fourth Wednesdays of each month 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. For zoom information contact Kay Stuart-Tilley at firstname.lastname@example.org. Our next meeting is March 10.
Food For Thought – a healthier you, a healthier planet
For the past few months, we’ve been concentrating on healthy sustainable diets. However, at our next meeting in March we will go more global. At the March 11th Food for Thought – a healthier you, a healthier planet meeting, we will view and discuss a video about the 2019 EAT-Lancet Commission’s Report “Food Planet Health – Healthy Diets From Sustainable Food Systems” presented by its two lead authors, Prof. Walter Willet MD and Prof. Johan Rockstrom PhD, first launched in Oslo, Norway. Very briefly, the report establishes one goal, to achieve planetary health diets for nearly 10 billion people by the year 2050, through two targets and five strategies.
Please consider joining us for our Food for Thought zoom meeting on Thursday March 11th at 7 pm. If you are not on our email list and are interested in attending, please email Linda Oaksford at email@example.com. A link will be sent to you prior to our meeting.
Upcoming Church Work Day
