Current year pledges reported for December of $18,710 were close to budget, but included funds collected in late November. The current year pledge total, including prepaid pledges, was $144,433, or 61.3% of target. Pledges designated for FY 2019-20, but received from July 1, 2020 through December 31, 2020 totaled $4,515. This amount will be transferred to the Reserve Fund in January 2021.
Again, all major categories of expenses were below budget, resulting in a year-to-date budgeted expense total at 6.0% below target. December was the last month for UUCT staff’s healthcare expenses to be reimbursed. Starting in January staff salaries will be increased to include unused amounts budgeted for healthcare reimbursement, prorated semi-monthly.
Netting out total budgeted income and expenses for the month, expenses exceeded income by $1,844. This shortfall is largely due to total income coming in $2,346 under budget. For the year budgeted income, including prepaid pledges, exceeds expenses by $36,700. A substantial gift from the estate of Linda Logan produced a sizable non-budgeted net income.
In December the endowment fund balance increased nearly $40,000, resulting in a 19.5% increase in value since June 30, 2020.

- Kenyan Partnership Church $814
- UUSC $25
