Service theme: A UU Choir Rehearsal: We Are What We Sing —The Chalice Choir will offer favorite choral pieces from this year. We will explore what it takes to take a piece to its full realization: not just learning words, notes, and rhythm, but fulfilling a performance that fits the paradigm of the piece. Who Made This Mess? Questions Concerning Human Agency —Since ancient times, people have been questioning what role the spirit world plays in determining how humans should live. Who decides how we should go forward, what part do the gods play, and who made this world such a mess, anyway? We'll look at dialogue with the spirit world on human agency.
