Harmony Camp offers a rich, diverse, non-religious program to both educate and entertain children of all faiths. Scheduled for July 12-16, 2010, from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m., Tallahassee-area children entering First Grade through Sixth Grade can take part in a wide array of exciting activities: nature and the environment; visiting the elderly at Harbor Chase and taking oral histories of the residents there; learning the art of pet therapy; art; drumming; Native American crafts; physical education; hands-on science; yoga; beading; story-telling; and much, much more! On the final day, campers will present a program for parents and guests, to include drumming, singing, and a puppet show.

At the heart of Harmony Camp is one of UUCT’s seven principles: Justice, Equity, and Compassion in Human Relations. All Harmony Camp campers come away having more respect for themselves, others, and all living things.

Before and after care is provided for an additional nominal fee. For more information, select the brochure link below, or contact co-directors Sally Andersen (443-6420), or Terri Martin (385-5106.)

Registration for Harmony Camp begins on March 1. Updated brochures and registration forms available February 2010.
